Dr. Anne Schutte is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Center for Brain, Biology, and Behavior (CB3) at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Iowa in 2004, and has been at UNL since then. Her research interests are in the area of cognitive development, with a particular focus on the development of spatial cognition and executive function. Her primary research program focuses on how experience influences the development of cognition, in particular spatial working memory and attention. Her research is based on a dynamic systems model of cognition, the Dynamic Field Theory.
